Sergio Romero
REMEMBERING SERGIO ROMERO!
The San Marcos High Wrestling team is mourning the death of fellow teammate Sergio Romero. Sergio passed away on Friday October 7th after being struck by a vehicle at a crosswalk in Santa Barbara. Sergio was a great kid and very dedicated to his music and his wrestling. Sergio was a good friend to many and an inspiration to others. Although this was his first year on the wrestling team, we could see that he was determined to make the most of it. Sergio was described by his teammates as always happy with a smile on his face. The team plans on recognizing Sergio Romero at its home opener in December. Currently,  Donations are now being accepted at Wells Fargo Bank under the Sergio Romero Memorial Fund.
